"I am a displaced Wall Street Professional with over 20 years experience. I looked at a few resume writing offers that were posted on many of the job posting websites, but felt that my experience spoke for itself. In 3 months, I sent out over 20 resumes with individual job-specific cover letters and got zero response.
I saw a posting from this company – offering a free review of my resume (as many of these companies do). So far I have had one cover letter written – the result speaks for itself – I was contacted within days for an interview and that interview turned into 5 interviews – in one day – which happened to be today so I haven’t heard back yet on the outcome. I also have an interview pending based on the resume alone – follow-up on that is the end of this week.
